A week of adventure at Student Opportunity Week
Student Opportunity Week (SOW) offered all 900 Secondary students and teachers a week of opportunity and excitement as they participated in 17 different programs in Term 2.
Students fly high at Space Camp in New Zealand
One of this highlights of this tour is Space Camp in Christchurch. Over three days, our students learned about the science of flight, life as an astronaut and parachute design and construction.
Brooke Prentis visits for National Reconciliation Week
During National Reconciliation Week NBCS welcomed Brooke Prentis, a nationally recognised Aboriginal Christian leader, and a Wakka Wakka woman, to come and speak with our Primary and Secondary students, sharing a message of Indigenous reconciliation as friendship.
Inaugural STEM pathway event a success
NBCS recently hosted a STEM pathways and careers event for our Secondary students, promoting the breadth of opportunities available after Year 12.
NBCS Young Writer included in HSC Showcase
NBCS is delighted to announce that 2023 HSC graduate Millie Piggott’s English Extension Two major work has been selected for inclusion in the 2023 HSC Young Writers Showcase.
History tour group wowed by European landmarks
A group of 16 senior students and teachers made the most of their recent two-week history tour to Italy and Germany, visiting some of the structures and places they have been studying in their Ancient History and Modern History syllabuses.
