Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning
SCIL is a unit within NBCS, established in 2005 with a research and development focus. The vision for SCIL is to continually improve the education at NBCS through innovation, professional practice and technolgy. Today, SCIL provides services to other schools in order to raise the standard of education across the board, as well as delivering online distance education to hundreds of students in NSW.
Christian Schools Australia (CSA)
Northern Beaches Christian School is a member of Christian Schools Australia (CSA). NBCS Principal, Mr Stephen Harris, chairs the NSW State Council for CSA, and sits on the National Council.
Maquarie University Partner School
NBCS is a member of the Macquarie University Partner Schools program. This has enabled close links with the university, as well as funding grants for research tours undertaken by the school. This partnership also opens more doors for our students when they graduate, with special scholarships and resources for studying at Macquarie Uni.
