After-school Care (Terrey Hills)

Whilst NBCS does not currently offer an on-site after-school care program, links have been established with an after-school care provider next door.

Campus tours

Tours of the campus and facilities at NBCS are included during Information Evenings. Additional group tours are scheduled at various times, and individual tours are welcome if a place is currently available.

Placement tests (Year 5 and Year 7)

Placement tests for both Year 5 and Year 7 Extension Class entry points are held in May each year.

Scholarships

Northern Beaches Christian School is pleased to offer Academic Scholarships for HSC (Years 11-12) students. The scholarships have a duration of 2 years and are for half (1/2) of the tuition component of NBCS fees (family fees, the technology levy and other student expenses are not discounted). Transport (Buses and Trains)

NBCS is well serviced by buses, with wide-ranging bus routes and services.

Forest Coach Lines
Current bus routes include Mona Vale, Narrabeen & Elanora Heights, Chatswood Station, Gordon Station, St Ives, and Davidson & Belrose. (View website and timetables)

Shorelink
Current bus routes include Berowra Heights, Turramurra Station, Roseville Station, Hornsby Interchange and West Ryde Station. (View website and timetables)

Sydney Buses
STA buses connect with Forest Coach Lines and Shorelink services to extend serviced areas, including Mona Vale to Newport, Avalon and Palm Beach. (View website and timetables)

City Rail
Buses routes connect with a range of train stations, including Gordon, Chatswood and Turramurra (North Shore Line) and West Ryde (Northern Line). (View website)

Private Services
NBCS also runs two private buses servicing Newport to North Avalon on the Northern Beaches Peninsula. Younger students are given priority for these services.

Transport (Car)

Drop-off by Parents
Parents are welcome to pick-up or drop-off their child. A custom drop-off zone has been established within the carpark and parents must adhere to any direction given by a member of staff.

Student Drivers
Senior students who have a valid licence are able to drive themselves to school, however tight restrictions apply regarding passengers. If students wish to drive to school they need to fill out the appropriate form available from the Head of Senior Years.
