Working at NBCS
Northern Beaches Christian School is a vibrant and forward-focused place to work. Staff at NBCS are given opportunities and freedom to innovate and grow as educational professionals, whilst further developing solid curriculum foundations and classroom practices.
NBCS Staff have strong people skills and a passion for teaching and learning, whilst also embracing an innovative use of technology. Staff are constantly challenged to find new ways to further our mission statement: “Excellence in Education, Christianity in Action.”
Technology is an important part of education at NBCS. All Staff are required to be proficient in performing normal desktop functions and demonstrate an ability to effectively implement technology in the classroom in order to enhance the learning process.
All applicants for positions at NBCS, both teaching and administrative roles, must be active Christians with current church involvement.
Full-time Teaching Staff
Positions vacant for the following school year are advertised starting mid-year on this website, in the Sydney Morning Herald (MyCareer), on the Christian Schools Australia (CSA) website and through seek.com.au.
Any positions that become vacant during the school year will be advertised as they become known. NBCS is happy to keep applications on file for future employment.
Casual Teaching Staff
Applications are welcome throughout the year for casual teachers, both Primary and Secondary. After submission of a Staff Application Form (including the Working With Children Check forms), applicants will be contacted when a place on the casual list becomes available.
Administration
